Show I ICffy approves 'new sub-division on a letter read by Mayor Haymond from the State Road Commission, on Main Street parking (the letter is published in another place in the paper today) but it was poinited out that the commission had failed to live up to agreement with the city. A bid of $133 for a suitable plaque for the civic center, sub mitted by D. and H. Enterprises, Enterpris-es, was accepted by the city. The other bid was for $256, from Building Specialities Corp. New lights The council agreed to assist in the amount of $300 on installation in-stallation of additional lights at Springville Stake House. New lights have also been in- stalled on First, Second and Third West and on First, Second Sec-ond and Third East, it was pointed out. Application for a license to operate a beauty shop by Mrs. Ruth Webber at 117 North, First West, was approved by the council. The council also allowed $20 to Oliver Dalton, Justice of the Peace, to attend a Traffic Court Seminar at Camp Williams Wil-liams November 5 and 6. A statement for $198 from Dale Despain for planning services, was approved at the meeting. Also during the evening, the council agreed to assist the school board by making gravel avaliable for use on the access road to the new high school.
