"Expect the Unexpected: A Season of Surprises" is the theme for the 23rd SUSC theater season. "There are many surprises on the agenda," the promotions coordinator coor-dinator said, "from Shakespeare's 'Midsummer 'Mid-summer Night's Dream1 ' to 'An Evening of One-Act Plays,' 'The Lion in Winter,' 'The Matchmaker,' Mat-chmaker,' 'Deathtrap,' and the musical extravaganza ex-travaganza 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.'" CEDAR CITY "Godspell," a musical celebration based on the .Gospel of St. Matthew, returns to the Southern Utah State College stage for a limited engagement Sept. 31 and Oct. 1 and 2. Curtain is at 8 p.m. in the SUSC Auditorium. Tickets go on sale today at the SUSC Box Office, 586-7876. The box office is open weekdays from 1 to 5 p.m. and from 1 p.m. until curtain on days of performance. "'Godspell' is being brought back after a very successful run last spring," R. Scott Phillips, theater promotions coordinator, siad. "It is planned as a special activity to mark the Day' is from this Brodway production." A dozen students make up the "Godspell" cast, the same students featured in the campus-community campus-community production last year. Fred C. Adams, professor of theater arts, is the production director with Dave Nyman, chairman of the SUSC Department of Music, as the symphony sym-phony conductor. Tickets will cost $4 for aduks,- $3 for1. senior citizens, $2 for -children 5-' 12 and $2 for SUSC students with activity cards. SUSC freshmen will be admitted by show of their fee receipt.
