Show Record urges its readers to voice their opinions on paper You may not believe it, but we at the Record are sincerely interested in what you think, and in what you think is important and what you think a newspaper should contain: A newspaper isn't worth the paper that its printed on if it doesn't give the readers what they want. That's why we are asking for you're help. The Record recently put together a survey inviting in-viting public opinion and critism in an effort to serve our readers better. It's not something that the Record is doing as a public relations scheme or to gain a "good boy" image, but rather it is a sincere effort to find out what the reader really wants. A questionnaire has been included in this week's Record, on page A4. It's simple and quick and doesn't take much time. It gives the reader a chance to voice his or her opinion and desires concerning what they really think a county newspaper should contain. So take a little time today just five minutes or so and fill out the questionnaire. A newspaper should give the people what they want, but without public input it's sometimes difficult to determine just what the readers actually want. Help us to do a better job for you and for the Iron County. |
