Show William Wallace Smith World War I. He was a rancher and livestockman all his life, and has lived the past 70 years in Cedar City. He is survived by his wife of Cedar City; two sons and one daughter: Allison Bushnell, Cedar City, Wallace Kay Smith, Cedar City, and Donlee S. Simkins, Boulder City, Nev.; 15 grandchildren; and 16 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers and two sisters: T. Gordon Smith of Cedar City, Denalvin Smith of South Jordan, Lulu Cox Pace of Provo and Elda Stafford of Orem. One brother, J. LaMar Smith, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be June 5 at 1 p.m. in the Cedar Eighth LDS Ward. Bishop Steven Crowther will officiate. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery. WILLIAM WALLACE SMITH, 85, died June 1, 1982, in Cedar City. He was born in 1897 in Glendale, Utah, to William Seymour and Catherine Carpenter Smith. He married Alice Smith on Jan. 30, 1932 in the St. George LDS Temple. He was educated in the Glendale schools and in the Branch Normal School (now Southern Utah State College).
