Show Eleanor Adair ELEANOR HULET WINSOR ADAIR, 82, died April 3, 1981, at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. She was born in Summit on May 2, 1898, to Sylvanus and Mary Ida Dalley Hulet. She married Murkins T. Winsor on Jan. 5, 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Dec. 5, 1929. She later married Josiah H. Adair on July 25, 1934 in Pioche, Nev. She received her education in Summit and Logan, Utah. She also attended Utah State University, .. Brigham Young University and Albion College in Idaho. She received a teaching certificate from Utah State University. Prior to her marriage, she taught school in Enterprise, then in Peterson after Mr. Winsor died. She retired from teaching at the age of 69, after 28 years. She was a member of the Oakhills First Ward at the time of her death. She had served as ward organist most of her life. She also served on the Relief Society stake board and as a stake missionary. She has taught genealogy classes and was extremely interested in that work most of her life. She also served as a visiting teacher and as a temple worker in the Provo Temple. Survivors include five sons and two daughters: Galen Hulet Winsor, Richland, Wash.; Melvin Murkins Winsor, Littleton, Lit-tleton, Colo.; Gary L. Adair, Monticello, Utah; Neldon K. Adair, Kearns, Utah; J. Myron Adair, Morgan, Utah; Mrs. Raymond B. (Maurine) Farnsworth, Provo; and Mrs. George (Lyle) Jakeman, Orem. One daughter, Delsa Brad-shaw, Brad-shaw, preceded her in death. Also surviving are 33 grandchildren, 54 greatgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, one brother and four sisters. Funeral services were Monday at 12 noon at the Oakhills First Ward LDS Chapel. Interment was in the Milton City Cemetery, under the direction of Berg Mortuary Mor-tuary of Provo. |
