Show Local 4-H accepting new clubs photography, outdoor cookery, small engines, snowmobiling, .town and country business programs, bicycle care and safety, food preservation, home improvement, imagineering in art, junior and teen leadership, leader-ship, make up your own mind, one-on-one basketball, plants and soil science, range management, rocks and minerals, veterinary science, and woodcraft. With summer quickly approaching, it is time for local youth to again think about joining 4-H. According to a recent information letter from local 4-H leaders, when four or five friends get together who want to take the same project, they should come to the County Extension Office or talk to a community supervisor and fill out an enrollment sheet. The organization is open to all youth 9 to 19 years of age. Projects available include archery, beef, bees, dairy, dog, garden, horses, pigeons, rabbits, safety, sheep, swine, weeds, aerospace, automotive, child care, clothing, fix-it, forestry, entomology, Indian lore, knitting, my heritage, pesticides, tractor, wheels, animal science and electricity.
