Show Weaver Summer Pie 2d in ys" in the Sky By Janet Weaver For a simply elegant dessert or refreshment to serve guests, who not try some of these. Thank's goes to Johnna Call for the first two recipies and to Marilyn Wilson for the Third. Cherry Cream Pie Johnna Call Add l4 c. sugar and 4C. (plus a little more) melted butter to 1V4 c. crushed graham crackers. Place in 9 x 9 pan. Combine: 1 cup sweetened condensed con-densed milk 1-3 c. lemon juice V2 tsp. almond extract Fold in-. V2 c. whipped cream Pour in pan over graham cracker crust. Cover with cherry topping made with 1 can cherry pie filling with V c. sugar and tsp. almond extract. Chill and eat! Mile High Raspberry Pie Johnna Call 1 (10 oz) pkg frozen raspberries t 1 c. sugar 2 egg whites, at room temp. 1 Tb. lemon juice. Dash of alt 1 c. heavy cream, whipped. whip-ped. xk tsp almond extract Baked 9" almond pastry shell Thaw raspberries. Reserve a few for garnish. In mixing bowl combine raspberries, sugar, egg whites, lemon juice and salt. Beat for 15 minutes or until stiff. Fold in whipped cream and almond extract. Mound in baked pastry shell. Freez until firm. Garnish with raspberries and a sprig of mint. French Silk Pie Merilyn Wilson 3-4 c. margarine creamed with 1 1-8 c. sugar added gradually. l'2sq. chocolate (melted). IV2 tsp. vanilla and dash of salt. Add 3 whole eggs one at a time. Beat 5 minutes after each egg is added. Put in baked pie shell, or graham cracker crust. Refrigerate. Can be made a day ahead.
