Show benefits outlined byASC Darwin Hulet, Chairperson Chair-person of the Iron County ASC Committee, explained that every farmer in Iron County who plants wheat, barley or corn for harvest in 1980, may be eligible to z receive benefits under the : new two level Wheat and : Feed Grain program. Mr. Hulet stressed, however, I that '. these benefits will not : come to farmers ; automatically. Each produce MUST report his grain crop : acreages at the county ASCS office not later than June 15, 1980, and these acreages MUST be as accurate as : possible. In other words, benefits will be reduced or s lost in cases where the 5 farmer's report is found, by ; spot check, to be in error by ; more than (1) acre or five j- percent of his measured : crop acreage. : ASCS office personnel will ; assist farmers in the office to compute field acreages where boundries show on the : 1977 aerial photography. If ; part fields or changed boundaries are involved, i farmers should make other : efforts to determine ; , distances or acreages before coming into the office to report his acreages. One : sure way to be in compliance :' is to request "measurement " " service." '" vl ' |
