Show HOUSE LISTED ON HISTORICAL REGISTER The Samuel H.Allen house In Provo has been listed In the National Register of Historic His-toric Places, according to the Utah State Historical Society. So-ciety. The house at 135 East 200 North In Provo is significant because of its association with several of Provo's prominent residents, and as a good example of the architectural archi-tectural transition from the Queen Anne style to the turn of the century revival styles. Built in 1897 using local craftsmen and local materials, mat-erials, the house was originally ori-ginally the home ofDr.Sam -uel H. Allen, and is now owned by Monroe and Shirley Paxman. |
