Show t ia Happy birthday to Reed Glllins, who celebrated on , Tuesday, April 24th, with a party given by his wife, Kleda, and joined by Norm and Sherrie Thompson and family. Getting buried is fun? Only when its waist deep in the sand of Snow Canyon by St. George. The Second Ward Marrieds Group spent last Saturday romping through the dunes, and then moved to a picnic sight by some child size hills and ate lunch. Those attending included: Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Cox, their Shaun, Aaron and Heather, Hea-ther, plus Matthew Louns-bury, Louns-bury, Stacy Stewart and Jason Ja-son Sanders; Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Davis, Donna, David and Willis; Debbie Chappell, Jennifer and Jeremy; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wright, and son, Jason; and Mr. and Mrs. Blake Madsen, Travis, Elise, Jeremy and Daniel, and Todd Puffer. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Florence Flo-rence and five children, plus their newphew, Tom, and David Gay, all picnicked and played in Snow Canyon last Saturday. They were originally ori-ginally meetingthe Marrieds Group, but got so involved in a mud fight that they just said "hi" from a distance -(no one wanted to get near them!). Mr. and Mrs. RoyalWort-man, RoyalWort-man, of Portland, Oregon, have been touring the desert sites in Arizona and Nevada, and stopped in Milford overnight over-night with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter. The Wort-man's Wort-man's are parents of Cheryl Baxter, who is the wife of the Baxter's son, Douglas. Overnight guests at the home of John and Betty Jimenez Jim-enez included: Johns' sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Jorgenson, of Santa Ana, California, and another sister, Mary Blon-quist Blon-quist and two sons of Salt Lake. They also visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luis Jimenez. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Walker went to Cedar City last week to celebrate their nth Wedding Anniversary. Joining in the celebration were their children and grandchildren. The Karl G.Maeser Memorial Mem-orial Building at Brlgham Young University, located on the southwest corner of the campus, houses a replica of the "Lehl Tree of Life Stone" or Izapa Stela 5 as it is officially called in archaeological ar-chaeological circles. |
