Show Helen Gillim 387-2612 Mr. and Mrs. Gail Van Tassell, with members of their family including Char-lott Char-lott Hatch and children, Troy, Stephanie and Brett of Price came down, along with Sylvia Ann Bradshaw and daughters, Daynanneand Sherree, and Annette Van Tassell, left last Friday for Phoenix, Ariz. They went for a visit with another daughter, daugh-ter, Shaunna and husband Theo Smith and son Matt. They attended a session at the Mesa LDS Temple where Theo and Shaunna had their son Matt sealed to them. On Sunday, Theo gave his son a blessing and name in Fast and Testimony meeting. They enjoyed two more days of visiting, returning home on Wednesday. Elva said it was a real enjoyable time for them with their daughters daugh-ters and children. Doragene Bailey has returned re-turned home from Kearns after returning the grandchildren, grand-children, children of Neil and Virginia Bradshaw. She was accompanied by daughter, daugh-ter, Carolyn Price and children chil-dren of Cedar City. She stayed stay-ed another few days to help Virginia with her family, who Is recovering from recent surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stewart were in St. George Saturday evening for the wedding and reception of Colleen Murie and David Tipton. Colleen is the daughter of Farrel and Leah Murie, former Milford residents. The Stewarts also visited with other friends, John and Zelda Stahl. Mr. and Mrs. James Mayer May-er and sons visited this past weekend with daughter, A dele and husband Tom Mc -Ginn and children in Ogden. They went up to see a granddaughter grand-daughter who had been ill. They made a visit to see Barbara's sister, Deanna and Linus Leppink and children, chil-dren, in Salt Lake and getting get-ting acquainted with the Lep-pink's Lep-pink's new baby. At Bert and Merlin Mer-ryweather's Mer-ryweather's cabin in the east 4 mountains during deer hunt were sons, Martin from Orem, Karl and son Scott from Heber City, Bob and ' grandson Kevin ofSouthMil- J ford, and friends A lan West -on and Mahlon Harritt of v Salt Lake. Martin's family were having a good time at grandpa and grandma's new home. Lean Smith from Salt Lake spent several days for the deer hunt with father, George Smith. Jerry Mayer is home now with his family after spending spend-ing six days at the St. George Hospital. Jerry had extensive exten-sive surgery on his arm that was broken some time back while he was making some deliveries in Idaho. He will be going back Tuesday for a check-up. We are all wishing wish-ing that the check-up will find everything progressing as it should be. Mr. and Mrs. Theman Walker were in Cedar City on Sunday to be at Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting to hear their grandson, Steven Gale, report re-port his missionary experiences exper-iences of his mission in New Zealand. Steven is the son of Hod and Margie Gale. After the meeting, relatives and friens met at the Gale home for refreshments and visiting. visit-ing. Opal and Theman met Emma Smith at the meeting and enjoyed visiting with her. Mrs. Woodrow Lee from Calif, is here visiting her children, Elbert and Marsha (Lee) Applegate and family. She will be here for a month. |
