Show Salt Palace ta hear 160 acre limit talk Locations have been announced an-nounced for the Hearings on proposed regulations to govern gov-ern future sales of land holdings hold-ings in excess of 160 acres that receive Federal water, Regional Director David L. Crandall announced today. The Utah hearing will be held November 15 In Suite A at the Salt palace, 100 South West Temple. Hours for the hearing will be 9 a.m. - 12 noon, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. until conclusion. Individuals wishing to testify tes-tify should notify the Bureau of Reclamation, 125 South State Street, P. O. Box 11568, Salt Lake City, UT 84147, Phone: 801524-5438. Written Writ-ten comments will be received re-ceived until November 23, 1977, and should be addressed ad-dressed to the Salt Lake City address or to the Commissioner, Commis-sioner, Bureau of Reclamation, Reclama-tion, Department of the Interior, In-terior, Washington, D. C. 20240, Attention: 400. Oral presentations will be limited to 10 minutes for each witness. The proposed regulations affect lands In excess of 160 acres to which water from Reclamation projects can be delivered under Reclamation law. They were developed as a result of a Federal District Dis-trict Court decision inAugust 1976, which directed the Bureau Bu-reau of Reclamation to Initiate Ini-tiate public rulemaking procedures pro-cedures In the sale of excess lands on Reclamation projects. |
