Vera has held all offices in the stake and ward, serving the relief society and primary. They welcome all their friends to the reception and program. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bond will honor their parents with an Open House on the occasion of their Golden Wedding Anniversary, Anni-versary, on Saturday, June 4th, on Clinton's birthday in the Milford LDS Church at 7:30 p.m. Clinton and Vera were married June 2, 1927 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They are the parents of two children, chil-dren, Marvin R. Horten and Mrs. Rae Wright. They have nine grandchildren and four great -grandchildren. Vera was born to Per ley F. and Ester Rollins. Clinton was born to William S. and Armena Barkdull Bond. Vera was a schoolteacher in Beaver County for 40 years and boasts many former students stu-dents in the county. Clinton farmed until 1947, when they moved to town. He worked for Tomsik's Service, drove the school bus and was with Milford City for seven years. They retired in 1967.
