Show Becky Williams It's about time I got back into the writing business. Things have been so hectic lately that I feel I often meet myself coming. Since there hasn't been any news from Garrison for awhile, you've missed hearing hear-ing about a trip to Salt Lake for Bud and Gen Richardson when they went to see 'I Do, I Do' at Tiffany's Attic. You also missed hearing about the steak and lobster budget bud-get dinner Garrison Branch had, and the many comings and goings of all the residents. resi-dents. Last week Bud and Gen Richardson had grandchildren, grandchil-dren, Brandy and Albert, here staying with them. Saturday Sat-urday their mom, Donna Corey, came out to spend some time with her folks. She's planning on going back to Salt Lake the middle of the week. Darlene Whitlock went to Provo for a doctor's appointment, appoint-ment, and Billie Osborne went along for the ride and a visit with Barbara and Frank Jones. Darlene also visited with some of her family, fam-ily, Lou Johnson, Glenda and Joe Wright and their t: sons, in Springville. Glenn Osborne had a date with the dentist, so he and Billie spent Wednesday in Milford. While there they were also able to visit with Bobbie and Tom James. Billie feels that happiness was having Thelma Brook-bush Brook-bush visiting with them at Big Springs ranch. She is living in Idaho Falls. Thelma enjoyed renewing old acquaintances ac-quaintances in Snake Valley. Saturday night the Baker P.T.A. sponsored a dance featuring Neil and Rosemary Forrester. A drawing was held for a TV and for various var-ious door prizes. Frank Bodine was the lucky one who won the TV. From all reports re-ports it was a successful event. I was very pleased with the company we had last Sunday and Monday. Pat and Barbara Bar-bara Hecker from Palmer, Alaska were here to visit and talk and talk. Pat was in Utah to get married, and Barb is going to BYU. Thurs -day we joined them in Provo to attend Pat's wedding, and had a most enjoyable time. Wayne and Mollle Gonder were in Salt Lake for a few days this week. Pat Gonder is now in the stake Primary presidency and made a trip to Lund, Nevada as part of the job on Wednesday. Owen was in Salt Lake the first of the week, and Delta the end of the week for the stock show. We've had snow and rain, and this year that is always welcome news. School will be out this week and we will lose Lani Johnson from our community. We hate to see her go, and wish her lots of luck in the future. Thanks to Billie, I can end with a little chuckle. "Look, Daddy," said the little visitor from outer space when he saw his first skating rink, "people on the rocks!". |
