The new 1977-78 officers were sworn in. The Honors Assembly was held Tuesday afternoon. It included awards to special seniors, and the class prophecy, pro-phecy, will, and history was read. The B -Steps held their banquet the 19th of May. B-Day was last Friday. The morning was spent with the boys cleaning up the outside out-side and the girls cleaned the classrooms and inside. Then after lunch, the relays, sack hops, 3 -legged race, and tug-of-wars were held. The 7th grade matched the 8th graders, the 9th vs. 10th, and the Juniors and Seniors competed in all the activities. activi-ties. The 8th graders won, and the Juniors took 2nd place over -all. The awards assembly was held Monday at 11 a.m. Awards were given in football, foot-ball, basketball, wrestling, Beaver 1 High I Tales! i By Terry Lemon U The State Golf Tournament Tourna-ment was held the 16th of May in Provo at the Tim-panogas Tim-panogas Golf Course. Mitch Oakden, Terry Lemon, Jeff Lee, Mike Henrie, and Mark Yardley represented Beaver against eight other 1 - and 2-A 2-A schools. The golfers did a fine job, despite the bad wind and occasional oc-casional rain. Low scorer for Beaver was Terry Lemon 86, Mitch Oakden 96, and Jeff Lee 98. Congratulations golfers. golf-ers. The Piute traveling assembly as-sembly put on a program for the BHSstudentbody.The program included several skits and songs.
