Rainbow trout are ranging rang-ing from 12 lb. to 4 lbs. in size with 2-12 lbs. offish being the average take. OTTER CREEK RESERVOIR: RESER-VOIR: Catch rate will be slow with success similar to last year. The new State park facilities offer limited limit-ed parking, but restrooms and water are available. The reservoir lies mainly on BLM land giving plenty of places to park a trailer. A boat launching ramp will be available In the park. The fish will average 1-1 12 pounds. PANGU1TCH LAKE: Pan-guitch Pan-guitch Lake is expected to be good fishing for rainbows. A few cutthroat may also be taken. Most fish caught will be 12 to 34 lb. The lake is lower than normal for the opening. Launching of boats will only be good at the south side public boat ramp. North ramp is nearly out of water. A large crowd is expected. Cabins, boats, trailer space, groceries and public campground are available avail-able at lake. But the season opens Saturday Sat-urday with or without fanfare and here is what the Division of Wildlife Resources has to say about popular local waters. wa-ters. BEAVER MOUNTAIN LAKES: Most of the Beaver Mountain lakes should be ac-cessable ac-cessable for the May 14th opener. At present, all lakes can be reached except La-Baron La-Baron Reservoir. Camping facilities are provided at Little Reservoir and Kents Lake. All lakes will be stocked stock-ed and should provide excellent excel-lent fishing. Little Reservoir Reser-voir should produce 13 to 12 pound rainbow and a few brown trout weighing up to 10 pounds. Due to the high elevation ele-vation of the Beaver Mountains Moun-tains and the early opener, campers should be reminded to bepreparedforcoldnights and possible cool weather during the day. BEAVER RIVER: Good fishing is in store for the Beaver River this year. All areas will be stocked with catchable rainbow trout. Access Ac-cess is excellent to all areas of the stream and several camping areas are located adjacent to good fishing ENTERPREE RESERVOIR: RESER-VOIR: Both Upper and Lower Enterprise Reservoirs are closed during 1977, following follow-ing the chemical fish eradication eradi-cation in 1976. FEH LAKE: Fish Lake should be good fishing for rainbows in the 10-14 inch size. Ice is off the lake so fishing should be good for lake trout and browns for the fisherman trolling near the shallows. Cheese, dead minnows and worms should be the best baits, while Mepps spinners andRapala's will be the best lures. All roads will be open.
