Show tap talle capita steek The wind died down to a gentle breeze for the first time in days, and though there was a chill in the air, Saturday proved an excellent day for the, annual Beaver County Livestock Show. The show, which was started as a range bull sale over 30 years ago, came into its own with the earlier dates, and fifteen bulls were on hand for judging. Sheral Carter's 2 -year-old bull took the Grand Champion, and Jeff M arshall took Reserve Champion with a bull under two. Tex Marshall had the top older bull. An interesting sidelight of the bull judging was judging or guessing the weight of Bill Wood's bull. Howard Pryor, County Commission Chairman, won with a guess of 2168 pounds. The bull weighed 2,165 pounds. Pryor won the guessing contest two years ago when he guessed the weight of two bulls and m issed by only a pound and a half. There was plenty of stock, particularly dairy, beef and horses. The Miners ville Legion Le-gion Auxiliary served roast beef sandwiches, potato salad, sal-ad, pie and ice cream .
