The Twin-M SCD helped many farmers to level land, put in concrete ditches, and generally practice good farming methods. The most recent project was the Minersville pipeline. A small dam was placed above the stock grounds and a weir put in, and water piped to the Minersville fields. This allowed many fields to be put into produc- RALPH PEARSON tion with gated pipe and sprinkling systems that were not productive before. Ralph devoted many years to soil conservation and is . still active in the Cattlemen's Cattle-men's Ass'n., the Beaver County Livestock Show, and many other facets of farming farm-ing and ranching. His wife, June, has steadfastly stead-fastly kept pace with his activities, always with a willing hand. They wish to thank all the many wonderful people they've worked with over the years, making the Twin-M SCD a success. |
