Don Sly and Arleen Butler have received word of the forthcoming marriage of their neice, Carla Jean Sly, which will take place the 7th of March. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Sly of Springville. She will be united in marriage to Verlin Rooch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rooch of American Fork. The marriage will take place at the Manti Temple. Miss Sly is the granddaughter granddaugh-ter of Maurine Patterson of Beaver and the late Rose Sly Bradshaw, who lived in South Milford. A reception will follow the marriage that evening In Springville, where friends and relatives may honor the bride and groom. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mayer May-er and family spent a week vacationing in Calif, where they visited friends and relatives. rela-tives.
