At Enterprise the Tigers led 22-19, 39-27, 59-41 and 77-59 as Russell Smith, after af-ter sitting out the Parowan game, came on for 18 points and the game high scorer. Jim Raines had 16, K. Barnes 13 and Tom Jones 11 for those in double figures. Tait had 8, Mayer 7 and Hanley 4. The Tigers also had mastery mas-tery of the boards as Jones picked off 15, Raines 13, Smith 11, and Mayer 8. They hit 30 of 69 field goals for 44- and 71 from the foul line. The Wolves had 35 from the field and 61 from the line. Sharing scoring honors for the Wolves were Richard Phelps and Fred Woods with 17, Jeff Holt 12, Larry Phelps 11, and Danny Em-mett Em-mett 2. Milford finished the regular regu-lar season at Enterprise last Thursday with a 77-59 win over the Wolves to give them a 17-1 league record and a 19-2 season record, losing only to Kanab on the road and 2 -A leading Cedar City at home. They were out-scored out-scored by only eight points in the whole season, losing by three In overtime at Kanab Ka-nab and by five to the Red-men. Red-men. The Tigers outscored their opponents 1,316 to 1,004 and twice soared over the century mark, beating Bryce Valley 116-72, and Parowan 109-49. Several school records were set and with the initiation initia-tion of the new gym at the start of the 1974-75 season, all totals are records in the new gym. Friday the Tigers will play their first game In the Round Robin at St. George, being seeded through the Thursday sessions. They will play the winner of the Bryce Valley-Escalante Valley-Escalante game at 7:00 p.m. |
