During Dur-ing the tour, personal observations obser-vations and interviews are conducted to select the All-American All-American Family Leader of Tomorrow, who receives a $5,000 college scholarship. Second, third and fourth place national winners receive re-ceive scholarships increased increas-ed to $4,000, $3,000 and $2,-000 $2,-000 respectively. Leppink Is MHS Family Leader of Tomorrow Joan M. Leppink has been named Milford High School's 1975 Betty Crocker Family Leader of Tomorrow. Miss Leppink won the honor by scoring high In a written knowledge and attitude examination ex-amination administered to high school seniors here and throughout the country Dec. 3. She will receive a specially designed award from General Mills, sponsor of the annual Betty Crocker Search for Leadership in Family Living and becomes eligible for state and national nation-al honors. From the ranks of all school winners in the state, a State Family Leader of Tomorrow To-morrow Is selected through judging centered on test performance per-formance and receives a $1,-500 $1,-500 college scholarship. Encyclopaedia Britannica Educational Corporation Cor-poration will present "The Annals of America," a 20-volume 20-volume reference work, to the state winner's school. Representing every state and the District of Columbia, Colum-bia, the 51 Betty Crocker Family Leaders of Tomorrow, Tomor-row, together with their faculty fa-culty advisors, will gather in Washington, D.C., inAprll for an expense-paid educational educa-tional tour of the capital city |
