Show Mr. and Mrs. Ben Briscoe were guests last week at a family reunion of Mr. and Mrs. Lane Suter, Phoenix, Ariz. Other relatives present pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Chapman and Mr. and Mrs. William Clay of Kansas City, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pollock of Williamstown, Mo., and Mrs. Lucille Warren, War-ren, Hollywood, Calif. They were Joined for the weekend by the Briscoe's daughters, Jean and Marshall Auzenne of Hemet, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Bill Johnson, Brenda and Benjie of Milford, and Judy's brother, Mr. and Mrs. Max Sage of Chicago, 111. flew out and joined the group then accompanied the folks to Milford for a few days visit with relatives in Milford. Mil-ford. Ben and Judy drove Mr. and Mrs. Sage to Salt Lake City to board the plane to Chicago last Thursday. Mrs. Marge Turner visited visit-ed for a day last week with her mother, Mrs. Milton Pool. Stopping for a short visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Pool were his daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. c: (Ruth) McWhorter of Denver, Colo. Lester and Evon Williams i I drove to Farmington to help I take care of their daugh- ter's baby, while parents, Linda and Clark Sonzlni, took another daughter, Yvonne, to the Bountiful hospital where she underwent surgery. sur-gery. She is recovering very well. Lester Williams was in Salt Lake City and Provo recently on business. John D. Wilcock, Salt Lake City, was here with a friend, Marvel Gaser of Bountiful, Thursday to visit his uncle and aunt, Usher and Helen Wilcock. Paul and Zella Whiteside were in Cedar City recently on business. Linda Jimenez, daughter of John and Betty Jimenez, celebrated her 20th birthday Friday with her family present. pres-ent. Thursday, Feb. 20, Glenn Thompson, son of Normand and Sherrie Thompson, celebrated cele-brated his 11th birthday with a party. Friends who were there to help him celebrate were; Robbie Bolton, Chad Bradshaw, Blair Coon, Dannie Dan-nie Davis, Dean Davis, Paul Horlacher, Tom Jefferson, Kenny Patterson, Reagan Puffer, Randy Rose, Jesse Rowley, Lancy Johnson, Nanette Na-nette Dalton, Lorl Davis, Tara Gale, Whitney Patterson, Patter-son, Crystal Pipher, Brenda Robbins, and members of his family. Ice cream cones, cup cakes and all -day suckers suck-ers were served. Games were played,and a very nice time was had by all. Glenn appreciated all those who were able to come to his party. Friday, Feb. 21st, Norma Thompson, daughter of Normand Nor-mand and Sherrie Thompson, Thomp-son, celebrated her 12th birthday party. Friends helping her celebrate were; Cammle Barnes, Edith Barton, Bar-ton, Laura Bradshaw, Rosa Mary Bradshaw, Deborah Horlacher, Lee Ann Hlatt, Leslie Kennedy, Elaine Long, Lisa Nelson, Kerrl Prodzinski, Lisa Thomas, Chris Sherwood, Wendy Whitney, and members of her family. Gertrude Jefferson arrived ar-rived back home Saturday after having medical attention atten-tion at the Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. We are all glad to welcome her home again after an absence of six weeks. Clint and Jane Myers drove to St. George recently to visit their nephew, John Earl and Nada Myers who have been recovering from the flu. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roper were pleasantly surprised to have as weekend visitors, their son, Merrill Roper and his wife Pat. They also visited visit-ed Pat's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Kessler, and her brother, Ray Kessler and family of Adamsville. They returned to their home in Murray on Monday. Viola Boon of Concord, Calif, recently phoned her grandparents, Clint and Jane Myers, to visit with them. She said they may be out to see them with their three children this summer. Karen Marshall and three of her four children, Matt, Brian, and Sue Anne all of Grandvlew, Wash, were here for a week visiting Karen's mother, Thelma Gillins.Her husband Elvin and oldest son Robbin stayed at home. Roger and Janice Aagard and three children, Cindy, Ryan and Norman, and their friend, Branda Fisher, all of Granger, were here this last weekend visiting his parents, Mr. an Mrs. Bill Aagard. David Wright, a student at BYU, was recently a visitor at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wright. Accompanying him were two friends, Mary Ann Daynesof Salt Lake City and Bill Swen-son Swen-son of Provo. They attended the Young Adult Valentine Party at the LDS Church while here. Don and Edith Wlsner drove their daughter, Marianne, Mari-anne, to Salt Lake City on Friday to compete for the "Outstanding Sophomore in Leadership" award for the state of Utah. It was held at the Tri Arc Travel Lodge. Out of the 13 participating, 3 were picked. The winner Gertrude's daughter, Mrs. Helen Duffy and sons. Celebrating his 66th birthday birth-day Sunday afternoon was Max Baxter. Those stopping by to see him for the occasion occa-sion were Mrs. Gertrude Jefferson and Gary, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Baxter and children, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Pa ice and children, Mr. and Mrs. Fred O'Leary, and Mrs. Helen Duffy. Also calling call-ing to wish him 'happy birthday' birth-day' from Calif, were Jonelle Smith of San Diego, Mrs. Guy Heslington of Simi Valley, Val-ley, and Arlene Rose of Northrldge. Fred and Ginger O'Leary and family of Ruth, Nev.have been visiting Fred's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. O'Leary. O'-Leary. , Mr. and Mrs. John Dean Lucy of Salt Lake City were here for the weekend visiting visit-ing their daughter and family, fam-ily, Mitch and Jolene Skou-gard. Thursday the Normand Thompson family had a family fam-ily birthday dinner for Norma Nor-ma and Glenn with a special decorated birthday cake. Mr. and Mrs. Westen Vernon Ver-non and Raya Jones from Salt Lake City recently spent the night at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Vernon. They were on their way to Los Angeles, Calif, to visit their son, Dr. Brent Vernon, and his family-Celebrating his 23rd birthday recently with his family. R. C. and Iris. Dres-ent, Dres-ent, was Arnold Willyard. Jim and Eileen Craw and four children of Mlnersville also came over to help Arnold celebrate. Wednesday morning, Feb. 26th, Marion Banks, accompanied accom-panied by Doris Horlacher, Rachel and George, drove to St. George to see the last basketball game of the 8th and 9th grades. They stopped to visit a cousin, Bob and Roma Horlacher and family, and also friends of Doris, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Payne, who are spending the winter months In that area. Mrs. Gertrude Jefferson entertained dinner guests recently.
