Show i ' i ...... ,., Henry I. Magee To Serve Milford First Baptist Ministry The Milford Baptist Church has acquired the service ser-vice of Mr. Henry I. Magee, 22, of Tylertown, Miss. He will serve a three -month student mission as minister of the Milford First Baptist Church. Rev. Magee is a graduate of Clark Junior College in Newton, Miss., and . will graduate in May from Mississippi Mis-sissippi College in Clinton, Miss. Both schools are a part of the Southern Baptist Conference. Con-ference. He said he will be in Milford Mil-ford at least three months, and there is a possibility that his mission could be extended ex-tended for an indefinite period. per-iod. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben I. Magee, Mississippi farmers, he hopes to eventually even-tually continue his education with the Southern Baptist Seminary. Regular services at the Milford church are: Sunday school 10 a.m., Sunday Sun-day morning worship 11 a.m. Both Sunday and Wednesday evening services begin at 7:30 p.m. He expressed an immediate im-mediate like of the Milford community, though he admitted admit-ted that it was a little colder than Mississippi. Three From Milford Retire From UPRR Three Milford residents retired from the Union Pacific Pa-cific railroad recently, according ac-cording to the 'Info' magazine. maga-zine. Those retiring were S. K. Munk, conductor, 37 years; R. C. Willyard, sec-tionman, sec-tionman, 24 years; and Fern T. Burbidge, chief clerk, 32 years. |
