Show THIS AND THAT -- WITH PAT Jimmy Glenn and daughter Jan of Kearns came to Milford to see their grandmother, Mrs. Susan Glenn, who is in the Beaver County Hospital recovering recov-ering from a broken hip. His two sons are here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Glenn. Mikel is attending attend-ing school in Milford and Toby . is here for a visit. Mrs. Mae Colborn accompanied accompa-nied tier son Robert to his home in Bakersfield, Calif. Mr. Colborn came up last week to get his mother's car, which he purchased. Mrs. Colborn returned re-turned to Milford Monday and left Wednesday for Salt Lake to attend the Feb. 14th wedding wed-ding of a grandson, Jerry Van Campcn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thurlow Van Campen. a Lottie Armitage plans to leave for Montrose, Colo., to bring back a sister, Mrs. Grace Wilson, who will stay in Milford Mil-ford a few weeks before leaving leav-ing for New Mexico to visit a son. Mrs. Zella Limb, who has been spending the winter In Salt Lake with children, was in Milford a few days, en route to Los Angeles where she will visit the following children: Mr. and Mrs. Earl Limb, Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger, Mrs. Becky Puttie and daughter daughter Joyce. Accompany Mrs. Limb to California was a grandson, Oren Sly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Sly. Oren plans to enlist in the U S Air Force. C Mrs. Stella Merchant of North Creek spent last Saturday Satur-day with her sister, Mrs. Rose Sly, in South Milford. The ladies' la-dies' brother, Oren Puffer, joined them for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jones observed their 54th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 9 Mr. and Mr3. Leon Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Grim-shaw Grim-shaw spent the afternoon with their parents. Mrs. Roy Young was in Ephraim last Wednesday to attend at-tend a mother and daughter tea at Snow College. 9 Word was received in Milford Mil-ford of the birth, Feb. 7, of a son to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Munk, at Camp Edwards, Cal., where Donald is stationed with the U S Air Force. The grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Wanda Munk, who was there when the youngster arrived, will return to Milford this week end. 9 Karen Baudino, who is employed em-ployed in Las Vegas as a beauty operator, was in Milford Mil-ford the past week after receiving re-ceiving word of the illness of her mother, Mrs. Dan Baudino. Karen will return to her home Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred O'Leary motored to Moroni Sunday to visit relatives. Aileigh and Retha Campoau and their two youngest children chil-dren motored to Filer, Idaho, Friday to spend the week end with his brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Max Cunningham. Cun-ningham. Another brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Grimshaw of Bountiful, joined the group for a family get-together. Mr. and Mrs. Max Mecham were in New Harmony calling on her parents. O Linda Meeker, who had been staying with her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Marva Connell, and attending school here, is now living with her sister, Mrs. Katholeen Johnson, in Saciamento, Calif. j Mis. Mary Lee Connell and .ler mother, Mrs. Edith Rocco, joth of Cedar City, called on irs. Connell's mother in law, Mrs. Marva Connell, last Saturday. Sat-urday. O Mrs. Olive Root returned from Salt Lake last Thursday after welcoming a new grandson, grand-son, born to Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rich. Margaret Ann Whittaker was in Milford for a week between be-tween semesters at the BYU, and to visit her friend Dennis Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Miller, who was home on leave from his U S Army station sta-tion at Fort MacArthur, Calif. Dennis accompanied Margaret Ann to Provo and remained there for a few days before returning re-turning to his military duties. Jess Baldwin and Guy Whittaker Whit-taker are on a business trip to Phoenix, Ariz., selling potato seed. Mrs. Dorothy Gale and family fam-ily are renting the home of Mrs. Lora Bradfield Skillicorn. Mrs. Skillicorn has moved to Woods Cross. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Foth-eringham Foth-eringham and family have moved to Woodland, Calif. Mrs. Vilate Lang, chairman of the Milford Cancer Society, and Mrs. Wanda Holm attended the annual Cancer School in Salt Lake last week end. John Jones is employed in Salt Lake as a U P carman. C Mrs. Heber Myers is in Salt Lake to be there during an operation op-eration on a granddaughter, Gay Lee, daughter of Allen and Shirlene Arns. 9 Mrs. Melba White is now at home after a week's stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph Perkins in Spanish Fork |
