Show SATURDAY IS ONLY DAY TO VACCINATE DOGS FOR RABIES Milford dog owners may obtain their 1964 dog licenses and anti-rabies vacclna'ion at a one-stop mass inoculation inocula-tion between the hours of 1 and 4 p. m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Milford Fire Hall. Dr. Urie of Richfield, veterinarian, vet-erinarian, will be here to immunize all dogs and cats against rabies, and Nadine Jones, city reccrder, will have a desk and her license tags in the fire hall. Immediately after a dog has been vaccinated Mrs. Jones will issue the license. Charge for the vaccine is $2.50 for dogs (effective for three years) and $1.50 for cats (effective one year). At a special meeting Monday Mon-day afternoon the city council passed an ordinance, published on another page of this issue, requiring all dogs within the Milford city limits to be vaccinated vac-cinated against rabies. All dogs taken to the fire hall to be vaccinated must accompanied by an adult. Milford City dog licenses are $2.00 for males and $15 for unspayed females. |
