Show MILFORD PERSONAL Mrs. James B. Watson and son Jimmie of Titusville, Pa., Ispent the month of July in Utah. During their two-week stay in Milford they were at the homes of Mrs, Watson's sisters, sis-ters, Mr. and Mrs. Max Bracken and Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd F. Kohler. Mrs. Watson, the former for-mer Elva Skinner, was making her first visit to Milford in 23 years. Mrs. Neva Love underwent an emergency operation Aug. 8th in the Beaver County Hospital. Mr. and Mrs,. Jack Kay and daughter Meda of Salt Lake were in Milford calling on Mrs. Kay's mother, Mrs. Ada Winn, who is convalescing at her home after a major operation. a Relatives at the Dr. Symond home, calling to see the new son born Aug. 2nd, were Mrs. Sy-mond's Sy-mond's sister, Mrs. Pat Gately of Peru, Ind., who remained for two weeks,; a brother and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Kist-ler Kist-ler of Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. George Gieszl of Tuba City, Ariz., and Mrs. D. H. Dickerson of Tucson, Ariz. Lynona Kromann stopped in Milford for two weeks with her brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jefferson. Lynona Ly-nona was en route to Salt Lake where, she will be employed. Stopping over night at the Milford airport last week were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Burnette of Burbank, Calif. While 'here the visitors and Mi-, and Mrs. Ben Briscoe enjoyed a day in the Beaver Mountains. Raymond Briscoe joined his sister Colleen at the home of their brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Leeper, in Rialto, Calif., last week. Together To-gether the Briscoe children will return to Milford. Colleen had spent the summer in the California Cali-fornia city. Louree Moore of Salt Lake, a former Milford resident, visited visit-ed last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Rickerson. Visitors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Hutch-ings Hutch-ings were Mrs. Hutchings' par-entSi par-entSi Mr. and Mrs. Cy Osborn of Beaver, and a brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs,. Roy Bradshaw and daughters Carrol Car-rol Jean and Connie of Spring-ville. Spring-ville. Mrs. Ralph Thompson and daughter Barbara will leave Aug. 20 for Chanute Air Force Base, 111., where they will visit Steven Carter. Mrs. Vernell Christopherson of Fillmore was' a visitor last week at the home of her brother broth-er in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Beard. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stonehock-er Stonehock-er and family of Salt Lake were in Milford recently en route to California. Mrs. Stonehocer's j j 'father, Roy Coleman, accompanied accompa-nied them to San Jose, Calif., I where the group met another 1 daughter and family, Lewis and Beth Wolf. While there Mrs. Wolf entertained at a dinner, announcing the engagemet of her daughter Kay. The group also called on Mr. Coleman's brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. David E. Coleman, at Los Gatos. Mr. and Mrs. Stone-hocker Stone-hocker and son Earl returned to Milford to get their two; children, chil-dren, Rennie and Margaret, who had been staying with their aunt, Mrs. Gladys Shingleton. 9 Mrs. E. A. McKee of Anaheim Cal. and Mrs. Margaret Nichols of Maywood, Cal., , have been visiting at the home of Mrs. McKee's mother, Mrs. Jane Lang, and her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Lang, e Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Jefferson Jeffer-son and daughter Judy left Wednesday 'for a two-week vacation va-cation at a beach near Los Angeles. An-geles. A Carlson family gettogether will be held in Milford in tha near future. Mr. and Mrs. Vic Carlson and son Skip and Mrs. Selma Carlson of Ogden, Mrs. Marie Charchalis and children of Boise, Idaho, and Mrs. Helen Bentz of Beryl will enjoy the occasion. Mrs. Ruth Hedrick and daughter daugh-ter Susan of Salt Lake are in Milford calling on old 'friends. j They are house guests of Mrs. i Jennie Martin. i |
