Show BEAVER Personal Mention Second Lt. Clair K. Lee of Beaver recently entered basic multi-engine pilot training at Goodfellow Air Force Base, in Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Warby of Salt Lake spent several days here last week visiting relatives and old friends. Dale Roberts and family of Van Nuys, Calif., were recent visitors at the home of hi&i brother, Alton Roberts. Also visiting here were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Roberts and family of Prescott, Ariz. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Wells S. Farrer and two daughters, Julie Ann and Linda Sue, vacationed last week through Mesa Verde National Na-tional Park, Colo.; Capitol Reef and Arches National Monuments. Monu-ments. On Friday Fred Gunn, son oi Mr. and Mrs. John Gunn, making mak-ing a cross-coutry flight from Bryan Air Force Base in Texas, where he is stationed, to Seattle, Wash., flew his jet plane over Beaver and blinked his light at Mrs. Gunn, who was awaiting his signal near her home. . Mr. and Mrs. Roy Morris of Murray spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Morris and Sunday in Pioche, with Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Morris. They were accompanied to Pioche by Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Morris. Mr. and Mrs. Omni Cart-wright Cart-wright spent a few days at their cabin in the Beaver Mountains. A family get-together was held last week end at Ponderosa Park before the departure of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Boyce for Kansas City, Mo., where Mr. Boyce will attend dental college col-lege and Mrs. Boyce will be ein-ploed ein-ploed by the telephone company- . .. Mrs. Hattie Goodwin, and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Iverson and daughter Phyllis of Delta, vacationing in California, left another daughter, Nadeen, with her grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Goodwin. , Mr. and Mrs. Leo White of Stockton visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack White, and family. They left Thursday for Salt Lake where Leo will enter barber school. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Carter spent the past week vacationing vacation-ing in Minersville. All members o the tamuy were present except the Hugh Robinsons of Cedar City. Mr. Robinson was recently injured at his work. Mrs. Earl Wilson o'f Las Vegas spent a few days this week vising vis-ing old friends in Beaver. Grant Esplin and family are vacationing for a few days in the mountains near Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Heppler spent the week in Salt Lake visiting vis-iting relatives. Mrs. LaPrele Lewis of South Milford is visiting her mother, |
