Girls between the ages of 14 and 22 who enter a suit, coat, dress or ensemble which they have made themselves from all-wool fabric, will not only have kept busy this summer, they will also have improved im-proved their sewing skills and will have the opportunity of winning valuable prize awards, the state contest director says. Districts Cover Entire State There is still plenty of time to enter a garment before district finals which will be held in the fall, Mrs. Swan points out. State finals are scheduled for January 6 at the Hotel Utah in Salt Lake City. To encourage younger girls to develop sewing skills a special, sub-deb contest for the 13 to IS age group will be held.
