Show MRS. SUSIE BEESON entertained enter-tained her bridge club Monday evening, with 12 persons present. pres-ent. Mrs. Helena McGarry, Mrs. Alta Poyter, Mrs. Myrtle Ashworth and Mrs. Sade Patterson Pat-terson received the prizes. A delicious lunch was served Lfy the hostess. A CANYON PARTY at Pon-1 dcrosa Park was enjoyed last Wednseday evening by members of the Beaver Literary Club. Mrs. Viola Nowers and Mrs. Bertha Dalton were hostesses, and entertainment was furnished furnish-ed by Mrs. Pearl Thompson. A delicious dinner was served and group singing and games were, enjoyed around the camp fire. THE LIONS CLUB held their annual summer canyon party last Friday evening at Ponder-osa Ponder-osa Park, with 25 couples present pres-ent to enjoy the delicious dinner din-ner consisting of roast beef, corn on the cob, hot rolls, and other tasty dishes. The dinner was prepared and served by Ray Morris. The group danced to accordion accor-dion music by Gordon Baker, and Lion President Ambrose Dalton and his partner, Mrs. W. L. Gregerson, won the waltz contest. Mrs. Erva Goodwin and daughter, Mrs. Joan Brinker-ho'ff Brinker-ho'ff and baby of McGill, Nev , visited Mrs. Hattie Goodwin and (other relatives the early part of the week. |
