Show VINE VALLEY, Reuben Gardner started for St. George today. He expects to move his family back home this week. Our weather record is almost phenomenal. phenom-enal. A difference in temperature of some sixty degrees was noted in the short epace of twenty four hours. Orin H. Snow has just returned from DeLamar where he has been laboring since December last. He has done fairly well and expects to start back Thursday to work until spring. Last week another visitor in the form of a little girl came to gladden the home Of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Gardner. The family are all quite unwell, being Victims of the now familial1 epidemic. We boasted of the healthful conditions con-ditions existing here, all too soon. The grip came like a thief in the night selecting its victims indiscriminately. Many are indisposed, and some are quite seriously afflicted-. Sister Sally Snow, aged -seventy-two, met with a painful accident last Thursday. Thurs-day. She was just recovering from an attack of the grip, being hardly able to walk out in the door yard. As she was coming into the house she stumbled and fell, severly spraining her shoul-i shoul-i der. Ever since her suffering has been intense. Relatives aarl kind friends are nursing her tenderly, but nothing seems to give her any great relief. It is sincerely hoped that she will speedily speed-ily recover. |
