Show Hamilton M. Wallace, 86' Pioneer Cattleman, Dies Sunday, June 24th TOQUERVTLLH, Utah Hamilton Monroe Wallace, 86, pioneer cattleman cat-tleman and farmer, died at his home in Toquerville, Sunday, June 24, of illness incident to age. He had been in poor health for several months. Born February 27, 1859 at Spanish Fork, Utah, he was the son of Hamilton M. and Charity Butler Wallace. In 1883 he married mar-ried Jane E. Stapley in the St. I George Temple. She was a pioneer pio-neer telegraph operator at Toquerville, To-querville, where they -made their ihome and have since resided, with the exception of five years spent in San Bernadino, Calif. Mrs. Wallace died many years ago. During most of his life he was constantly engaged in farming and stock raising. He was also active in L D S church work. Surviving are three sons, H. M. Wallace Jr., and John L. Wallace of Toquerville, and Clifford Clif-ford C. Wallace of St. George; four daughters, Mrs. Jennie Dean of Toquerville; Mrs. LaPrela Perkins Per-kins of Spanish Fork; Mrs. Pearl Glazier of Cedar City, and Mrs. Carrie Limming of Hawthorne, Nevada; 27 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, and one sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Hezekiah . Duff in of Idaho. Funeral services were held in the Toquerville ward chapel on Wednesday, June 27 at 4:30 p.m. with Bp. Leo Bringhurst conducting. con-ducting. Music numbers were, vocal duet by Mrs. Harry Slack and Mrs. A. C. Newell, accompanied by Ruth Slack; mixed quartet, Harvey Har-vey Theobald, Jesse Fish, Wilma Kleinman and Mrs. Howard Fish, with Mrs. Jesse Fish at the piano; "vocal duet, Mrs. Leslie Bringhurst and Miss Wilxna Kleinman, Mrs. Fish accompanying, and a ladies' trio.
