Show SPRiNGDALE Mrs. Sterling Seegmiller Reporter On Friday evening a party was given for three of our soldier boys, Vernon Ruesch, who has been released from the army, Calvin Ruesch, home on furlough, and Arlan Ruesch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ruesch, who is leaving soon. A very large crowd attended. Dancing followed follow-ed a short program. Mr. and Mrs. Graden Johnson of Salt Lake City are visiting here this week. A wedding dance was given in their honor Monday evening. They danced by candlelight candle-light until the lights came on at 10:30. The couple received many lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Edison DeMillt of Lynnwood, Calif., are visiting at the home of Othell Gifford, Mrs. DeMille's brother. They report re-port that Mr. and Mrs. William Gifford, who have been making their home with them the past few years, are in good health. Friday, the Daniel Winder family fam-ily went in for surgery. Dora and Hardon, and their cousin, Shirley Higley, had their tonsils removed, and during the evening, Leonard was ruched to the hospital for an appendectomy. Pvt. Von Hoyt reports that he met Robert Langston at church in Camp Maxey, Texas. Robert had been there two weeks. Avard Gifford writes that he met his cousin, Ortho Christensen on Luzon. Jasper Crawford sent his nephews neph-ews some little model automobiles with gear shifts, tires and all, and in running condition. -The stake Priesthood meeting was held here Sunday afternoon. A large crowd attended, and the Springdale ward furnished the both gdaleprogram. H Dingwas program.
