Show Stake Mate Choir Wins Ovation In Hurricane, July 1st HURRICANE, Utah The St. George stake male choir presented present-ed a most inspiring vocal concert in the North ward chapel Sunday Sun-day evening, July 1. The concert was directed by J. W. McAllister with Mrs. Mae Pace and Mrs. J. L. Pulsipher accompanying. The program numbers were, "America" by the congregation; "The Morning Breaks" by the choir; "God Bless Our Mountain Home" by the South ward male chorus; "Joseph, the Seer" by the choir with Ray Garner as soloist; "School Thy Feelings" by the East ward chorus; solo by J. W. McAllister, "Friends"; "Let the Lower Lights be Burning" by Washington ward chorus; "See the Mighty Angel Flying," Santa Clara chorus; "Did You Think to Pray," Center ward chorus, and "Anvil Chorus" by the choir. The chapel was filled to overflowing over-flowing for this excellent program and the officers of Zion Park stake extend invitation to the male choir to "come again." |
