Show Toquerville Mrs. Rowena Slack Reporter Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Mc-Intyre, Mc-Intyre, December 1 20, a boy. Word has been received here of the birth of a boy to Mr. and Mrs. Ina Day of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Day is the former Miss Ina Kleinman of this city. Her mother, Mrs. Leila Kleinman left Tuesday for a visit with her. Missionaries at our Sacrament meeting were Wilford Leany and Mrs. Hazel Walker of Hurricane. Miss Maxine ' Slack left Wednesday Wed-nesday for Logan after spending the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Slack. Miss Corris Jackson left Saturday Satur-day for Salt Lake City after spending Christmas with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Jackson. Word was received here on Christmas day of the death of Claud Beatty, 38, of Salt Lake City. Details of the funeral will be found elsewhere in this issue. Mrs. Caroline Slack, Ben Newell and Jerry Jones returned Friday from Los Angeles where they have been visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Clay Denton returned re-turned Sunday from Los Angeles where they spent Christmas. Due to so much flu and sickness sick-ness this community has had to cancel its dances and plays scheduled sched-uled for the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Terry of Enterprise visited Mrs. Terry's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T." Beatty, Thursday. Miss Bessie Beatty and Howard Fish of Short Creek returned with them. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Earl and children of Logandale visited Sunday Sun-day at the home of Mrs. Earl's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson. An-derson. Mrs. Rhea Wakeling and Mrs. LaRce Crosby returned Tuesday to their home in Cedar City. |
