Brigham Hardy spent part of the Christmas holidays at Mes-quite Mes-quite and Las Vegas, visiting relatives, rela-tives, and his two daughters, Mrs. Ellis Stevens and Mrs. Harris Merrill of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Theron Stevens and family and Miss Ora Hardy have motored to Overton, Nev. . They will visit with Mr. Stevens' parents, then go on to Las Vegas to visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Gifford and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hardy attended at-tended two sessions at the St. George Temple on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Gifford Gifford were business visitors at St. George Saturday. There has been some improvement improve-ment work done at the Dixie Hot Springs, which greatly improves the place. While helping on a community clean-up, Saturday Dec. 28, Evan Duncan, 16, was somehow thrown under the truck in which gravel was being loaded to improve the streets of LaVerkin. The injury which he received resulted in his death, within an hour from the time of the accident. |
