Show Motorists Will Be Able To Secure Their 1941 Plates In County Plans announced by the State Tax commission will make it possible pos-sible for Washington county motorists mo-torists to secure their 1941 license li-cense plates within the county. Offices will be opened at St. George on January 11 and 25 and February 8 and at Santa Clara daily. The dates are those regularly scheduled for conducting examinations exam-inations for drivers' and Chauffers' Chauf-fers' licenses. These examiners will be prepared to register passenger pas-senger cars on the dates indicated. While the examiners will not be prepared to issue truck or bus plates, they will accept applications applica-tions and will have the plates for such trucks and buses forwarded by mail. The service announced will be in addition to that provided at (Continued on page eight) Auto License Plates (Continued from first page) the branch offices of the tax commission com-mission at Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake, Provo Cedar City, Santa Clara, Ffichfield and Price. All such offices will be opened for registration of cars, buses and trucks according to their regular schedules. Applications for registration regis-tration may also be submitted by mail direct to the commission's headquarters in the capitol. Supplies of all necessary forms have been placed in the hands of the county assessors and car owners own-ers may secure such forms from the assessors at the same time they arrange to clear their property prop-erty taxes on their automobiles. All such clearances must be arranged ar-ranged before cars may be licensed. li-censed. Under the law all motor vehicles ve-hicles must be re-registered for 1941 on or before February 28. |
