Show SANTA CLARA Miss Amanda Graff Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Bud Sorenson of Las Vegas were visitors over the week end at the home of Mrs. Sorenson's father, Albert Graff. A large crowd of friends and relatives attended the shower given last Thursday afternoon in honor of Miss Barbara Ray. Miss Ray, who became the bride of Mason Barton on Tuesday, received re-ceived many beautiful gifts. Ballard Hafen has returned home from Baker, Calif., where he was taking training in the air corps. He is on furlough awaiting his transfer to an advanced training school. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian J. Frei received re-ceived word of the birth of a son, May 27,-to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Frei of Inglewood, Calif. Mr. and Raymond Staheli of Enterprise visited friends and relatives rel-atives in Santa Clara last Friday. Mrs. Viola Gubler and Mrs. Thomas Bladen of Cedar City, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. George Tobler, visited in Santa Clara over the week end. Their brother, Gilbert Tobler, will leave this week for military service. Mrs. Frank Hafen of Washington Washing-ton visited her parents here last Monday. |
