Show ROCKYILLE Mrs. Newell DeMille Mrs. Philetus Jones Reporters Mrs. Howard Savage arrived last; week from Camp Carson, Colo., I where she has spent the past I six months with her husband, who is stationed there. She is the former Louise DeMille. Tren Hirschi, Jacob Dalton, Garland Gar-land Hirschi and Jack Henderson spent the week end here from their work in Las Vegas. Marion and Lanya Hirschi left Sunday for Boulder City to visit their sister, Ray, who has employment em-ployment there. Grant Langston, Verle Langston and Alpine DeMille were speakers at the Sunday Sacrament meeting.! Alpine is home on furlough from I 5 military service. Verle will leave ' soon for the Army. Howard Hirschi and son, Garn, have employment in Boulder City. Aviation Cadet Gordon Heaton - of Cedar City spent the week end 1 here at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar DeMille. ' Mr. and Mrs. George Atherly and baby daughter left for Eureka last week end. Mr. Atherly obtained ob-tained a month's furlough to permit per-mit him to plant their potato crop at Eureka. Warren Hirschi is home for a few days from his work in Las Vegas. Mrs. Frank Kelsey and children came down from New Harmony, spending Memorial Day in Rock-ville Rock-ville with relatives. Mrs. Clara Stevens left for Salt Lake City Saturday to spend the I summer. ; Mr. and Mrs. Levi DeMille and 1 son, Wayne, spent Saturday in J 1 Cedar Citv. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Langston and baby daughter, Marilyn, spent Sunday here visiting friends. Dixon Terry left for Price last week after spending the winter here while attending Hurricane high school. Perry DeMille returned last week from the sheep camp where he has been employed for several months. The Primary officers, teachers and children enjoyed a picnic outing out-ing on Duncan Flat last Friday evening. Mrs. Elmer Cox and baby of St. George are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur D. Cox. Bill Lawrence returned last week from Salt Lake City to spend his short furlough here before be-fore leaving for the Armv M.Sgt. A. B. McLeod arrived last week to spend his ten-day furlough getting acquainted with his baby daguhter. Verle Langston arrived Saturday Satur-day evening from Logan, where . he has been attending school the past year. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hirschi spent Thursday in Hurricane on business. An out-of-doors dinner last Wednesday evening honored Cpl. Alpine DeMille who is home on furlough, 32 friends and relatives attending. On Thursday evening he was honored guest at a lawn party given by Miss Karen Ballard, Bal-lard, and on Sunday he was a dinner din-ner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hirschi. Mrs. Worth Wood of Cedar City spent the week end here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy DeMille. A home nursing class under the direction of Miss Gray of San Francisco, opened last Wednesday with 20 members from Rockville, four from Virgin and two from Springdale signing up for the course. Jacob Dalton entertained a few couples at a dinner party Sunday evening. Mrs. J. E. Bell left Monday to join her husband, Lieut. Bell, who is stationed at Ontario, Calif. Mrs. Lavern Pointer of Short Creek, visited with Rockville friends Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Ballard and family spent Sunday in Hurricane.
