Show Two Washington County Men Listed As Wounded In Action Two Washington county boys are listed this week as slightly wounded wound-ed in action. One is Pfc. Delos J. Bradshaw and the other is Pfc. June S. Cox, both of Hurricane. Their parents have been notified. Mrs. Druie Bradshaw, mother of Pfc. Bradshaw was advised by telegram Feb. 16, that her son was slightly wounded in action on Jan. 30, 1945, while serving with the First Army in Germany. He has been on active duty during dur-ing his entire three months overseas. over-seas. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cox received re-ceived official word that their son, Pfc. June S. Cox was slightly wounded in action in Germany on Dec. 18, 1944 and is convalescing convalesc-ing at an army hospital in France. Pfc Cox entered the service in Dec. 1943 and had his training at Camp Shelby, Miss, and Fort Meade, Md. He has been overseas over-seas since Aug. 1944 with the First Army participating in the battle of Brest and the siege of Aachen. He was awarded the Purple Heart for his wounds. |
