Show Funeral Services For LaYcn Adams Held In Hurricane Feb. 15 HURRICANE, Utah Funeral ' services for LaVon Adams, 36, ! who died in the L. D. S. hospital, ; Salt Lake City, Monday, Feb. 12, i were held in the Hurricane North . . ' ward chapel Thursday, Feb. 15, 14 ! at 4 p.m. Bp. Allen J. Stout conducted the services, j Music numbers were a vocal solo, "One Fleeting Hour," Owen Sanders accompanied by Mrs. a ' Vernet Hinton; violin solo, "Oh, 't My Father" by ' Miss Elsie Fish accompanied by her sister, Miss it Dora Fish; vocal solo, "In The Garden" by William Sanders and , "Rest for the Weary Soul" by the i Hurricane Faculty quartette. Speakers were Robert Wood-!4 Wood-!4 bury, Bishop Carol Heaton of the South ward, Rodney Stanworth and Bishop Allen Stout. All four paid tribute to La Von Adams for his cheerfulness under affliction, , his dependability, service to his )& fellow men and other admirable qualities. Mr. Woodbury also ser- monized on the eternity of life and Bishop Heaton on the need of unselfish service and of cheer-3J cheer-3J ing those who are in sorrow and helping those who are in need.
