Show La Verkin Winferd Gubler Reporter Approximately 325 people attended attend-ed the William Sanders funeral. The people who came from Hatch, included Bishop Melt Barnhurst, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Riggs, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Quigley, T. B. Sawyer, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Barnhurst and sons, Merlin and Elbert. Present from St. George were Airs. Laura Pendleton and Mrs. Barnhurst. Mr. and Mrs. Clark J. Gubler returned to the northern part of the state after visiting relatives and friends here. Lloyd Kjar accompanied ac-companied them to Salt Lake City. Mr. Gubler is attending the A. C. at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Luther C. Fuller had as their guest, Mrs. Peters of New York City. Mrs. Peters stopped here to join her son, Edward Ed-ward enroute home after seeing the Rose Bowl game at Pasadena. They returned east on Saturday. Miss Pauline Fuller returned to Manti to resume her teaching at the close of the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. William R. Palmer, Pal-mer, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Hopkins Hop-kins and Mr. and Mrs. Demar Bowman were all present at the William Sanders funeral Friday from Cedar City. |
