Show Haulers Of Wood 1 Warned By Ranger Regarding Permits Complaint Charges Illegal Use of Pipeline Road In Hauling Haul-ing Wood Off Reserve A complaint has been issued by the contractors who are building build-ing the St. George water pipe line to the Forest service because be-cause .of the fact that people are hauling wood over the road constructed by them to bring in their supplies and greatly interfering inter-fering with their work. In answer to their complaint, Jas. H. Baldwin, Forest Ranger has issued the following notice, informing the people of this district dis-trict that this road is1, not open to the general public nor is the timber in this section available for public use at the present time. Following is the notice issued by Mr. Baldwin: NOTICE The contractors of the St. George Pipe Line have complained com-plained of the people of Washington Wash-ington county hauling wood from the road they have constructed to 'get their pipe and materials to the pipe line, which militates to a greater or less degree against the progress of the work. No authority has been given by the Forest Department Service Serv-ice to the use of this road by the public, or the removal of timber tim-ber along this road. Therefore, the public is hereby requested to refrain from the removal of timber along this road, until such time as the Forest Service see fit to allow the road opened to the public. And anyone found removing timber from, this road without first securing- .permit from from the Forest Service, will be considered as in trespass, and will be handled as such. Jas. H.
