They were accompanied home by their grandson Albert Cannon who spent a month visiting there. Mrs. Harriet Glover and family have returned from a visit with relatives and friends in Kane County. Frank Short and his nephew Elwin Culver have gone to Cedar Mountain to spend the summer. Miss Evelyn Guerrero and Miss Shirley Bentley arrived here Tuesday Tues-day from Los Angeles to visit relatives rela-tives and friends. The Washington County Commissioners Com-missioners appropriated $50 for the repairing of the Motoqua road, which has been reported in very poor conditon for some time, at at their meeting on Tuesday. Mr. Brooks who is connected with the J. C. Penny Co., will leave here Sunday morning to attend a convention in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Mary Horsely and son, Robert Wayne have returned to their home at Los Angeles after a two weeks visit with relatives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon . Mathis and family returned Saturday from Los 'o'ep; where they had spent ten days visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hutchings and small son and Mrs. Mattie Empey left Saturday night for Los Angeles on a week's vacation. Miss Bernice Miles returned recently, re-cently, from a three week's visit with her sister, Mrs. Morris Brooks in Provo. Mrs. Brooks accompanied her home and is visiting - her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Miles end here with her. Miss Virginia Alsop, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Alsop, arrived here last Friday to spend two weeks visiting friends. Miss Alsop, who makes her home with her aunt in Lexington, Ky., has spent the last winter in New York attending, school. Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Mc-Arthur Mc-Arthur and family returned Tuesday Tues-day from Ogden where they spent the week-end visiting friends and relatives.
