Show Hurricane Miss Milda Isora ' Reporter Mrs. Verna Brienholt of Salt Lake City has spent the past two weeks visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Heaton. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Cutler and family have moved, it is reported, to Parowan where they will remain re-main for a short time and then they intend to go to Cedar to re-i re-i . . side. Lorin Covington has been gone for some time on a painting trip through New Mexico, Arizona and other near-by states. This trip was to last for six weeks. It is sponsored sponsor-ed partly by the church. The painters paint as many scenes as possible which are connected with incidents pertaining to church affairs. Last summer Mr. Covington Coving-ton went east with a group of painters on a trip of the same type for practically the same purpose. He aims to display some of his work, on his return home. Hurricane's dusty streets were moistened Monday when the largest thunder shower in many months centered over it. The streets were filled in many places with streams of water. During this storm Lafe Hall's house was struck by lightning and the sudden shock which occurred was felt for short distances. His house was not injured, however. Miss Phyllis Bradshaw left Friday Fri-day for a two week's visit at Salt Lake City with friends and relatives. |
