Show Washington Mrs. Edward Nisson Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hall spent a few days here from Kooskie, Idaho where Mr. Hall is supervising government road building. Mrs. Joseph Judd and family of Cedar City are visiting with hei parents, Mr. and Mrs. Williard Neilson. Oletha Turner returned from Provo last Friday where she visited visit-ed for a week with Mr. and Mrs. Donald dinger. Mrs. Turnbeaugh and Mrs Minnie Connell have gone 10 Eureka to spend a few days visiting. visit-ing. Mrs. Calvin Hall sponsored a program of sports for the children at Camp Washington Monday " afternoon, but the terrific lightning lightn-ing and rain storm came just in time to ruin all the children's fun However, Mrs. Hall's efforts were much appreciated by parents as no celebration had been planned by the city. J. F. Jankele put on a good program of fireworks, races and sports Monday afternoon and evening even-ing for the benefit of the public at his place of business. It was very much enjoyed by people from here. St. George and other places. Many residents from here enjoyed enjoy-ed outings at Oak Grove, Pine Valley, Bryce and Grand Canyon on the 4th of July. The intense heat made the mountain trip quite popular. |
