Show Leeds Mrs. Lizzie McQuaid Reporter The 4th of July was celebrated here on Monday with a meeting held at 9 A. M. at which a splendid program was rendered. In the afternoon most everyone went to Oak Grove where sports were hell. The talk given by President Parlmer of the' Parowan Stake on Indian lore was very interesting. One of the most thrilling event of trie day was watching the black rain clouds creep up the side of Pir. ? Valley mountain and move along the crest of the mountain. Th .' ""crowd was driven from the : ;;ye bv a hard shower. Visitors spending .the 4th here with relatives were Mr. and Mrs. C. B. McMullin and son, Douglas of Heaver; Mr. and Mrs. John Hall and Mrs. Gene Johnson of Hurricane Hurri-cane and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Rudy of Salt Lake City. Miss Grace Stirling returned to I os Angeles after spending the we -k-end here. Mrs. George McMullin and baby left for their home at Mammoth on Wednesday. |
