Show Bunkervflle, Nev. Mrs. Mary IT. Leavitt Reporter The proposed permanent water system from the Virgin River was held up for the present. The people of Bunkerville were in favor of it one hundred per cent, but the people of Mesquite were against it one hundered per cent, so it is undecided whether we will get any help on this side of the river or not. The Junior Prom was quite a success here last Saturday night. The house was beautifully decorated, decorat-ed, representing spring with a May pole in the center of the hall. The music by Bleak's orchestra orches-tra was excellent. Many out of town visitors were present, including in-cluding all of the faculty members mem-bers from Overton, with their wives. Mac Hafen, Leo Hardy, Johnny Jensen, Luther Hafen and D. H. Leavitt attended a grazing meeting meet-ing in Las Vegas yesterday. A farewell party is being planned plan-ned for Elwood Hardy next Saturday Satur-day night. He is leaving for a mission to the east central states next week. |
