Show E. S. Gardner Elected Head of SC District On Tuesday, Mar. 21, land owners in the Santa Clara and Lower Virgin Soil Conservation district voted for supervisors of the district. dis-trict. The tabulation of the votes cast indicates that E. S. Gardner of Pine Valley, Wallace Iverson, Washington and E. R. Frei Sr., Santa Clara, were selected to head the organization. For complete details of the election see Soil Conservation on page five of this issue. Notice is also given on page five that the proposed South Slope Upper Virgin River Soil Conservation Con-servation district has been duly petitioned and the state committee com-mittee has determined that the district is desirable and has fixed the boundaries which will include approximately 200,000 acres. The state committee shall next determine whether the operation of the district is administratively ad-ministratively practicable and feasible. |
