Show Two Hnndred Couples Attend Hurricane Hi Prom HURRICANE, Utah Loath to leave the magic of "Moonlight and Roses", the 200 couples, who attended at-tended the Junior Prom at Hurricane Hurri-cane high Saturday night, lingered after midnight under the spell of molten melody and the misty blue heavens, so beautifully created by Miss Barbara Tweedie, Prom chairman, assisted by Clark Ballard Bal-lard and the committee. Much individual credit is also due the junior class sponsors, Nelson A. Snow and Walter S. Brooks, who designed and managed man-aged the "most beautiful decorations decora-tions seen at Hurricane". After the promenade by the junior class, Miss Tweedie was presented with a gold locket and chain by Gordon Stout, president (Continued on page four) Hurricane High Prom (Continued from first page) of the class, in behalf of the members for her efforts in making mak-ing the party a success. Guests from out of town to attend the dance included three former Hurricane high school principals and their wives, Mr. 1 and Mrs. Milton E. Moody. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn E. Snow and Mr. j and Mrs. Leeman B. Bennett. The Bennetts were accompanied by Mr. . and Mrs. Clair Hewlett of Parowan. |
