Show Washington Caddie Neilson Lydia Stephens Importers Velva S'.uhrli. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staheli and Carl Wilkir.s, i,n of Mr. and Mrs. Orrna.n Wilkins. were married Friday. Fri-day. Tuesday night a shower in honor of the bride, was given by Mrs. Carma Staheli, Mrs. Gladys Mitchell and Mrs. Olga Lundberg at the home of the bride's parents. A large crowd attended and many nice gifts were received by the bride. Calvin E. Hall and family have gone to Fairview for the summer, sum-mer, where Mr. Hall is employed. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Webb of Cedar City were guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Vincent Sunday. Pres. Harold Snow and George Lytle were home missionaries at our ward services Sunday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Henry Holt of St. George spent Thursday visiting here with relatives. Miss Phyllis IS'isson spent Friday Fri-day at Mesquite where she was a guest of Miss Zella -Pulsipher. Mrs. Jennie Hall is home from the local hospital after having been there the past month. She is much improved. Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Staheli pvnt several days hist wwk at Barklev, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Larson j I entertained a number of friends at Pinochle Sunday night. ! Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hall ot Challis, Idaho, were visitors here last week. Mrs. Ann Nisson was hostess ' to the I.O.N, club Thursday afternoon. after-noon. The afternoon was sjvnt plaving Chinese checkers. Mrs. Caddie Neilson and Mrs. Aggie ' Sproul were the prize winners. J Mrs. Lewis Elhker of Enterprise Enter-prise came in Sunday to visit ' a week with her parents, Mr. and 'Mrs. William Tobler. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nisson 'and daughter, Phyllis attended I the wedding reception of Mr. and I Mrs. Grant Excell at LaVerkin Tuesday night. |
